James Rooney: Awards and Key Projects. Barn Extension /conversion, Hillsborough - won a commendation in the National House Builders selected for the annual exhibition by the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland. Extension to Edwardian house, Belfast -Chosen by the Architects’ Journal for exhibition at RIBA in their Small Projects Awards. Under garden extension and conversion of Georgian house, Glenarm -selected for the annual exhibition by the RIAI, won ‘Best basement in the UK’ in the Daily Telegraph Home. Building and Renovating Awards, won RSUA Design Award for Best Residential Building and was featured in The Architects’ Journal. Private house Moira -Won a commendation in the National Brick Awards.
